A quick note on these SBP interviews I'm doing. (I guess they're more like one-sided conversations, which isn't really an interview, lol!) These are set in current LH time, which is about 10 years ahead of the current SBP storylines right now. As the SBP carries on, the stories will get closer and closer to LH time until the point she's actually due to come home. I hope this isn't too hard for us to wrap our heads around, lol! Just keep in mind, the stories you're writing about Samantha are flashbacks, because in the interviews I'm doing, Samantha would be 33 or 34 and already near the end of her journey. The interviews shouldn't conflict with the stories you're writing at all, since my characters don't know where Samantha is or what she's doing. Also, Samantha doesn't know what's going on with her family and friends back in Lakeside Heights either. I think it will be interesting to see the two play out alongside each other. And there might be bits of history or information you can weave into your stories as well, since my characters will be talking about the Samantha they knew back before she left. Okay, so experiment on, lol! Let's see if it works out. First interview with Autumn Phillipine (Sam's mom) is posted

Hi SBP peeps! Since I had someone on my blog asking about those open slots, lol!... Billy, you claimed one of them, right? Do you want to just add 6 mo. to the stay you're working on now, or do you want to try to have her come back later? And for the other 2 slots (or one year), did we decide that those would be re-visits then? Or... pre-visits, for those whose turns come after those slots I also wanted to pose the idea that maybe she might not end up staying in Lakeside Heights at the end, you know, like for her happily ever after. As long as she comes back home to take care of her unfinished business, she might or might not (depending on how well she likes these other places) decide to stay. We'd have aging issues to sync up, but it's a possibility to consider.

Syncing up the aging might be tricky, depending on how much time has passed between the time Samantha was in the writer's hood and the end of the project. But that's an interesting idea, definitely!

hey laura! Yes, I did request one of the open slots. But as I play and write her more I've decided to make it a maybe instead of a definite. So Samantha will be moving on at the end of 6 months and then I will see later if she could come back. I vote that Samantha stays in your hood! I was hoping that this project would lead to some good conclusion for her (since she's returning to LH, something must have happened, right?) and since you've also said you only have two more rounds planned, it wouldn't be that hard to squeeze her in, right? and I have a new update on Sam! Man, this girl is really taking over my story lately, lol! billybop428.wordpress.com/2010/02/21/the-ladies-who-lunch/

Oh, I definitely still want her to come back at the end of all this, I just mean maybe she decides to go back somewhere else after she's taken care of whatever business she's come back for. I'm just thinking that since, by the time she does come back, my story will probably be near its end. So all the effort we've put into this, and no one will really get to follow her "happily ever after." You know, the way we watch them grow old and have children and grandchildren and everything. So I would give her whatever closure she needs, but I wouldn't be able to give her that "happily ever after" except in our imaginations. And besides that even, twelve years is a really long time to be away, and twelve years can really change a lot. I mean, I can't really say much more than that without spoiling my story, lol! I guess it depends on what she's coming home for, and we won't know that until the end. So this is probably something we won't even want to decide until near the end anyway. Just throwing out ideas
