In all parts of Sims 2 there's a creature aspect, and then creatures that aren't so much creatures [Sim Shrink, Grim Reaper and ghost], do you like the creature and not so much creature aspect of the game? Why or why not? Is there a particular creature you can't stand or that you love? I'm a fan of creatures, I love how there's a unrealistic side to the game. I love PlantSims and Vampires, then it'd be aliens. I'm not too much of a fan for zombies, just because of how slow they are, but I still like them. The creatures that may not be considered 'creatures' are great too, especially ghosts. Ghosts are always fun to have around in my opinion. What are your feelings on creatures and 'half creatures'?

I don't personally enjoy playing with the creatures. I don't even keep tombstones in my games. But sometimes a vampire or plant Sim comes in handy for a challenge or a story, so as long as I can avoid the unrealistic critters I'm content with them existing in the game.
I think I'm probably very much in the minority opinion on this matter.

I think I liked the idea of the creatures more than actually playing them.... I liked knowing it was an option to turn a Sim into a werewolf or vampire, but I rarely did it. I did, however, spend quite a bit of time once creating a Buffyverse, and then I got tired of it once I'd made Angel into a vampire.

I love the creatures in TS2. Right now my mission is to work with every creature I've never worked with.
Plantsims are my favorites. They're so easy to care for.
Aliens, I am sad to say, I've not had any in my game! I've only had one abduction in years of playing.

I'm with Rachel on this one. I liked knowing that I could have a vampire or plantsim, and the like, but I never did make any of my sims into any of the supernatural characters. In fact, I've never ever seen a zombie sim, and I loved University.
I almost wish that I had played around with the creatures because TS3 doesn't offer anything other than red/blue skintones.

I love the creatures in TS2 and mostly really played with vampires. I liked the whole turning into bats thing. It provided many many hours of giggles. The only time I ever played a plantsim, she got hit by a falling satellite within about two hours of playing her.

I never liked the creatures at first. I preferred to play my game as 'normal' as possible. In fact, there was a point soon after I got AL that I was *this close* to modding the witches out of my game because I hated that they made everything super laggy when they arrived on community lots.
I admit that I really started enjoying creatures after I modded the game a bit. So now my vampires can actually kill people, my witches don't have to be green (or sparkly), and my aliens can have non-stupid looking noses. I haven't played werewolves and plantsims yet. The witches still lag my community lots when they fly in, but I don't mind them now.

I was never very inclined to play creatures in my game. I would usually try them out for a minute or two in Pleasantview or something, but never in my real neighborhood. I played a vampire for a minute, played a PlantSim long enough to spawn a baby PlantSim, never saw bigfoot, werewolf, or a zombie in my life. I have had one alien abduction and pregnancy thrust upon me in my three years of playing my current neighborhood, which resulted in my very beloved Deppiesse family. I'm about to have a witch in my game, but I've dug up every mod I can to make it as ultra-realistic as possible. She won't sparkle or wear any goofy costumes or even ride a broomstick if I can help it, she'll just be a girl dipping her toes into the Wiccan lifestyle - and knowing the girl, probably causing a little bit of trouble along the way

I refuse to acknowledge it which can be frustrating when you have a Knowledge sim spawn all these creature related wants. Maybe I should make him a conspiracy theorist....
No, while I like the idea I don't see myself implementing it into my game. I actually thought about doing a Southern Vampire series twist and have vampires give themselves up but I got over that really fast and kept it moving

OMG, yes, conspiracy theorists! That's the perfect explanation for all those crazy creature wants and fears that knowledge Sims get! I love it!

I am a fantasy writer; therefore, creatures are awesome. No more to be typed.

I don't use the creatures at all, and use whatever hacks I can find to keep them out of my world. Nothing against them, they just don't fit.
