I did wonder about that! It sounds like a really good idea to do it that way too!
So do you do the rooms like sets - i.e. basically 3 walls decorated? Or do you do the whole room?

Illandrya, My neighborhood look like Hollywood sets as well, I decorate as I go. First off, I majorly suck at decorating and building. I tried downloading lots all decorated, but they were more trouble than they are worth, too much CC, crashes, etc. I try and find empty lots, and try and decorate as I go. Or I just go with my boxy buildings. Whatever works. I don't even put pictures on the walls unless I am pointing the camera in that direction. I fill in the holes with neighbourhood decorations. You should give us a tour sometime, like they do at Universal!

Lovely! I admire your bravery in profusely using cc. (chickens!) I'm always a little skittish of it, especially given that things sometimes work differently on the Mac.
So, where's the end-of-the-tour souvenir shop? ;-)

Really enjoyed the tour, been, there, done that, bought the T-shirt! Your decorating is fantastic. Kudos for doing whole rooms. I am so lame, I only decorate where the camera is pointing. And congrats on one year of Veronika. I always enjoyed the suspense/adventure aspect to your story, but also am thrilled it is becoming more of a character study in its narrative.

Great tour! I loved it! Really? You hadn't much clutter in TS2? With me it's the exact opposite as regards cc. I had tons of mods and cc and hacks with the Sims 2, but with the Sims3 it seems that everything is kind of problematic. I'm terrified of crushes and blue screens of death etc -mainly because no matter how many times it happens I somehow still manage to forget SAVING my work frequently, so I'm really trying hard not to download anything other than the completely nessecary (like skins and hair - EA ones are eeew).

I absolutely adored the Tour! It's given me lots of ideas for my houses too Great idea about making Sunset Valley into Brisbane. It works!

He probably feels like most of the time he was never really heard. He feels overshadowed by his family most of the time, doesn't he?

Aww! Bad muse! It's not a bad idea though to just write anything and see if it comes back. Sometimes just writing about a character will jar something loose. Or maybe writing about what you want to happen next or what you were planning on happening next.

What about imagining how one of your characters would declutter? If Veronika were to do some cleaning and organizing, what might she find? What would she think about it? Maybe list three things that each of your characters would never throw away?
Just thoughts in case they help. I'm impressed by anyone who gets cleaning-inspired enough to fill a big trash bin!

I hate it when it happens.. to be waiting for some free time and when I finally have some, to get stuck. I hope the muse comes back to you soon! And I'm equally impressed as dbloveshermac! That must have been a lot of decluttering, he he

Nicely done, both of them! I thought Perry's was particularly interesting, giving more info on his background and personality. Hey, believe me, it helps. Doing Lorcan's Bio last week helped get me out of a rut. Hope you do more~

Intriguing... I like the name Peregrine.
Aaron's is so exquisitely sad.

Oh, I love it! I so want to do a couple of these too now, lol! I might have to nab a couple of your questions to mix with Beth and Gayl's questions. I love the "currently reading" and the "one wish" ones!

Awesome! So I've gotten as far as trying to make the mosaic work, lol! When I put in my username at the BigHugeLabs site, the picture it gives me is just blank Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

my apologies too, Illandrya! We need a place to work out this kind of thing without spamming anybody's thread.

Beth, I copied over our notes to a thread in the tech section (or well, hosting issues and questions, which is closest we have to a tech section), and deleted my spam from Illandrya's thread, lol! You can delete yours too if you want so not to clutter up this poor thread. Sorry Illandrya!!!
