"I am a necromancer... and I don't mind being a necromancer when I think of things." Got discussing this in Creative Processes (favourite sentences). This is the first sentence of a story - take it where you like!

"I am a necromancer... and I don't mind being a necromancer when I think of things." Got discussing this in Creative Processes (favourite sentences). This is the first sentence of a story - take it where you like! Woman, how am I supposed to write 10? Okay, plan - finish Farmer Brown by Sunday, and then 10.08 after that, and then maybe the necromancer story. Man - I am so going to write one, though. I played a warlock for years in WoW, you know. A death knight might technically be closer to a necromancer, but eh. It makes me think of Morrowind too - some of the quests for the mage guild and mage house included wiping out some necromancers. I had been thinking of trying my hand at something fantasy-ish lately, with the Renaissance Festival as inspiration. You could try out some fairy dust at one of the booths and Grace picked up the brush and splattered my face with it so I was really glittery all day so I was going to write a story about Glitterface the fairy. Hmm - I bet I could incorporate necromancy into that. Bwahahahahaha! Oh! We need an evil smiley - although the Seth one could work too.

I play a hunter and a pally in WoW (on Proudmoore with RL friends as guildies) - and I think a Warlock is perfect for this story! I so want to go to a Ren Faire some day!! Definitely Evil smiley should be on the list. Seth could work as evil, but he's such a specific brand of evil, that I think an extra one is needed too!

I love this idea. I'll probably go ahead and give it a try.

I can almost think of a comedy to go along with this sentence. But I'm not going to say any details.

I can almost think of a comedy to go along with this sentence. But I'm not going to say any details. Ok nevermind...I'll say. I've been thinking about this prompt for awhile and started writing a little story...now it's becoming an adventure. Why can't I never make short stories? Oh well. I may even turn this story into a Sims2 story once Chrome is rolling again. Who really knows when it comes to me.

I've been thinking about this prompt for awhile and started writing a little story...now it's becoming an adventure. Why can't I never make short stories? I'm the same way. I can keep individual posts/scenes short, but a whole story? I get panicky just thinking about it I'll probably sit this prompt out. I'd normally do it, but I have a million different projects right now and I'm making a conscious effort not to start any more until at least one of the current ones is done. If I could keep it to one short story, I'd do it, but there is way too much that can be done with that sentence Can't wait to read everyone's stories, though

Well, screw putting anything into the Sims right now. I'll just take prose please! So much easier sometimes. First part of a (hopefully) short story (I rather doubt it). Chasing Tides is what I've decided to call this project...for now. It has a nice ring to it. mdpplainprose.wordpress.com/chasing-tides/

Like a second chapter...part...thingy...? I might make it into a story. (I'm not going to type "short story" because...well, my stories never come out short.) Chasing Tides Chapter 2.

Wow! I really want to know more about this world and the main character. Very interesting set up you have here. I approve, and I want more.
