Because it's quiet in here! I can hear crickets! ;D And yes, this proves that I have absolutely no life, lol!

Not that anyone really cares, but, I will tell you anyway!! ;D in bed running a temperature, reading advance copy romance ebooks on my laptop and writing book reviews for a romance website I contribute to. Listening to classical music on the satellite dish drinking a Coke Zero. There! Also, it could be some people are just all talked out. Just a wild guess.

It's exam season for me. Currently on one of my frequent study breaks (I have a horribly short attention span), but I've been devoting most of those to writing and/or the undergrad's constant quest for food. Sorry all EDIT: Aaaand I should probably start reading the previous posts before adding to threads :S Hope you feel better soon, Drew.

Drew- I care! I hope you feel better soon. Though you sound awesomely productive even though you're sick.
I know, I was watching all sorts of conversations going on while I'm at work, and now nothing, lol. I don't know, I'm always here, so I don't really have any excuse why I haven't said anything.

Illandrya, well I can verify that you don't smell funky, so I don't think it's you, lol! Drew, awww, sorry you're not feeling well. Yes, we did kind of talk ourselves to death last week, didn't we? lol! Van, ah, exams! That makes sense. It is that time of year, huh? Lunar, I'm usually here, on and off, all times of the day too, lol! I'll be like, *writes 100 words* - oooh, let's go see what's happening at VSS, lol!

Finals time and in the midst of thinking about what I'm going to do after the 18th of this month when I get kicked out of my dorm.

Playing the new World of Warcraft expansion pack. Not wanting to talk to people because I just make them upset. My goblin warlock, Lixx. Me and John, killing a raid boss at level 9! (We did have a special weapon, btw.)

Actually, I'm still as chatty as ever. Although it doesn't help that I'm at least 8-12 hours out of sync with most of you.
In the meantime I'm wheezing and hobbling, due to gunk in the lungs and a sprained ankle. So my sitting in front of the PC time has been slightly limited.
I've been working on a christmas moose. He has lights in his antlers - but I'm not sure apart from the twinkly lights, what else he should do.
I've also been attempting to download the whole of the TSR website because I was stupid enough to buy myself a 1 month subscription.
And just when you thought that was enough - I'm playing Wow - Catacylsm too. But at the moment I'm levelling my Night Elf Hunter GoodGracious (or GG for short)
Stacy - Your goblin is soooo cute!!!
Drew - I'm sorry you're feeling ill.

I am not especially busy at the moment but I've noticed that it's a bit quiet right across the community this week. Blogs, forums, Twitter - it's a bit like a ghost town.
Drew and Kiri, I hope you're both on the mend soon and good luck to those who are doing exams right now!

Drew and Kiri, I hope you're both on the mend soon and good luck to those who are doing exams right now! Heh. One of the benefits of being a web design student is that there isn't any exams. Just final projects using everything we've learned.

Aww Drew and Kiri, all that sounds terrible. I hope you both feel better soon.
I was on my job interview on Monday, and I went in for training for the job on Thursday (the last day for the person I'm replacing is today, so I would have had to go in there blind otherwise). Today is my last weekday of freedom before I join the working world again, but I've been distracted, AND my laptop screen went ffffft. I've been using the hubby's laptop, but I feel bad monopolizing it when he is home.

Get well wishes to Drew and Kiri, and successful exam/project wishes to all who have such.
As for me, the last couple of months of the year is the busiest time at my work, so I haven't had much time to sim or to write (been working on a Foliage update all week and STILL not done - arg); therefore I feel guilty about commenting in writing fora since I'm not writing much. sigh...
~excited about the Christmas moose~
GoodGracious is a great name!
Stacy, you'll have to try harder if you want to make me mad! ;-)

This week I have been: watching and marking first year presentations, marking first year coursework, transcribing interviews, trying to write a thesis chapter due in this weekend, dealing with the snow, dealing with travel insurance stuff after being stuck in Germany, keeping up my blog's Advent Calendar, sorting out our Christmas meal, sitting through uber-long meetings, reading my book club book, going to book club, going out twice in a row for friends' birthdays, going out for Christmas drinks, food shopping, teaching, role playing, catching up on email backlog, playing a little bit of my game and putting up Christmas decs Next week: A lot of the same, plus writing Christmas cards, work Christmas functions, marking second year coursework as well as the first year stuff, meeting dissertation students, writing a book chapter and planning next semester's teaching... So yeah, I'll be a bit quiet until Christmas!

Awww, thanks again guys, that is so nice. Since I already screwed up my update, I think crawling back to bed is in order. Would love to stay and chat (the plotting thread interests me) but I couldn't form a coherent thought, let alone put it into words. Yeah, that's me, under the moose...again. Look forward to the Xmas one~

Wow, everybody IS busy!!! If y'all don't hear from me for the rest of the day, it's because I'm hell-bent on finishing this chapter by the end of the day! And as my reward, I'll probably watch a movie later with my honey!
