SB, I have to agree that Sleeping Beauty has some gorgeous images and character designs. When I was little, I used to love to draw Aurora's hair. Anastasia! It's been too long since I've seen that one. But I still have it on VHS and don't have a VCR. Okay, well now I must add this one. Jerry Orbach singing.

Oh! Sleeping Beauty! I used to draw cartoons and tried so hard to mimic that style. Disney is so good for uplifting and cheerful songs.

I heard this today and it just cheered me up. Pink's Perfcect. THis is the censored version which is better than the uncensored version. The F words have been replaced rather than just beeped which is unusual in itself but the swear words were not necessary. It's more singable this way if you like singing along when no-ones listening or something.

Thank you for posting that, Pinkfiend. It's really helping right now - just cut ties with one of my best friends because I couldn't take the criticism and judging anymore.

Poor Stacey. Wel if you need those kind of songs you should add in a bit of Xtina. Don't ask me why but this song just suddenly reminded me of you. I don't have a clue why. But it's a good song anyway even if it's not necessarily the most happy making song.

Aww, thanks. And the Eminem song is on The Hardcore Experience mix CD and on the Sarah/Seth playlist, so it doesn't surprise me that it would make you think of me. To some extent that song could also fit the friendship I mentioned. So yeah - very serendipitous.

I remember dancing in the laundromat with my mom to this song.
And, of course, this is the song that made me fall madly in love with George Michael and any man in a hat. Funny story: I saw this video when I was five and fell hard for George. I tried telling my mom about this, but all I could remember about him was he was a man in a hat. For 20 years, we had no idea who the mysterious man in a hat was until I found the Faith video collection at Goodwill. The joy that washed over me when I discovered the man in a hat's identity was indescribable.

I was in a bad mood and got it thinking of a nice cheery song that I can sing along to and this popped up into my head.

In honor of Valentine's Day, here's a little video on Chocolate...more than you need to know, but fun anyway. Love this guy's videos most of the time. Usually he makes me smile or chuckle or both.
Also in honor of Valentine's Day, one of my favorite songs from when I was a kid and listened to my grandma's records. Also, the images make me go "awwwww"

A Twitter Joke: www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/joyimages/1442.gifThis man is Eduard Khil, a Russian singer from the 60's, better known as Mr. Trololo. The song is a bit special as you will see. It used to have lyrics, but they were removed for political reasons, I think. He's still alive and his grandchildren recently informed him that he's famous again thanks to the internet. This is absolutely hilarious!! I love this sketch of Jeff Dunham.

Can't believe I didn't think of this before. Please watch it, it's the video that makes this great. Although the song is good too.

Okay - this isn't light and fluffy and it may not be cheer up material for other people, but it is for me. And not like light fluffy cheer up, but...like, renewing faith in humans cheer up.
And yes, it's a Kanye West song that I hadn't heard before. So this is the new Stacy crack, replacing Power.

Any particular something? One of my favourite motivation songs is this one:
I go out and hug people, after I've had a good cry.
