Jimmy. That would have been my answer, too. I really am surprised it is yours--after all, you know exactly how damaged he is, and the rest of us are still not quite sure about that and about what his power is, etc.

I think we were all lusting over Jimmy at the beginning of Paula's story, before we knew his name. Wasn't he Mr. Brown Suit? Jimmy kind of redeemed himself a lot (at least for me) after Mary's portion of the story. I saw almost everything he did and said in a different light after that.
Um...anyway! I have no questions to add right now but I just wanted to say that I've been reading this and enjoying your answers.

I agree completely about Mary's story!

Rachel, loo. true. I think Jimmy is pretty damaged, but unlike many of the others he seems to know that. I think if he were real, he'd manage to find healthy outlets that might not necessarily be an ass to people around him, lol. Oh yes, he was Mr. Brown Suit! Oh another vote for Mary's story. Oh yeah, that's true. He's a fun mystery, lol. Thanks Carla. It's been fun.

I love that mosaic, so alive and vibrant. I have always admired writers who can completely create their own world, as you've done in Ruin. It's something I've never been able to do with much success and you have done it so well and made it so real for me. You've done the same with your character, which I love by the way. Great interview BTW, I think we are favorite story twins as I too loved Anne of Green Gables and Alice and Wonderland. And I also got in trouble more than once for pretending to "fall down that rabbit hole"

Aw, thank you. I didn't know you even read my stuff. Haha, story twins, awesome! And I'm not the only one falling down rabbit holes and then getting in trouble.

Great mosaic and I really enjoyed reading your interview. I liked that you added one of your characters in your mosaic too.
