Aww! Thanks Laura, I really appreciate that. I wasn't too sure I wanted to include them for the reason that a lot of people love them but they wouldn't stay away. I also figured they would act as a familiar compass for readers to this new environment. I've been trying to go slow with them because there are two very obvious climaxes to their story lines but I don't want to get there too fast.

Finally going to get a chance to finish the Wright family update. Its been tauting me because I know what I want to say and do with the update but I'm getting stuck on how. What is the right tone to set for this update?

I'm back at it and I realize I kinda missed it. I miss being creative in my own little way.
I've managed to map out the next two updated so that's at least out of the way.

Welcome back! And I love your take on the Caliente sisters. So many people write about them, but yours are miles more dimensional than any others I've read! I feel a need to second that. I don't really like reading about the Maxis sims, but your take on them is really refreshing and different. You really do breathe life into them.

Life really got in the way of this hobby and I realized today that I really miss my little neighborhood and my little people and their lives.
I've had an update on deck for a while but wasn't motivated but I'm going to make a come back however long it takes me. LOL

Well welcome back. It definitely has been a while, but life has a tendency to do that to you.

I have three on deck and three more will take me through the Spring 2011 updates. I'm trying to have 6 already done so that I'm ahead of my posting schedule.
Working on my first school update and I need to work on moving the families from being so isolated from each other. For some it makes sense but I want it to feel more like a neighborhood than a collection of houses in a vacuum.
Taxes are coming up and one family got to enjoy their ROS even though it's a relatively easy one.

Yes 3 in the bag!
The Valdez update was fun and sexy. I like where their storyline is going, it makes me smile.
I have a Heredon crew to get through (I officially think I made too many), taxes are due (I need to figure out if I want to make that like an update or just information), and spring announcements (which isn't really much...just a bunch of little birthdays).
Wish me luck!

Ugh, got my wisdom teeth pulled out and it pushed my schedule way back. Boo on that. I still have to finish writing one of the Heredon update but I think I'm going to start posting again. Should probably have something up on Friday. I think that's going to be my new posting schedule... between 1 -2 updates a week on Mondays and Fridays depending on how things work out.

Have this feeling I should back HC up today so that's what I'm going to do. I'm loving the Liquid Story Binder a lot. img833.imageshack.us/img833/8828/liquidpicture.jpgI'm making some changes to the Valdez update today, so you get a minor peek at that.

Yay! I'm glad LSB is working out for you. I see it looks like you've got a builder set up just for your building ideas? I never thought to do that! Awesome idea! Oooh, and a checklist for the play schedule? I have mine set up in an outline, but now I'm wondering if a checklist might be more useful? Hmmm... And that looks like a steamy update! Can't wait to read it fully!

Yea its a really good idea. I'm glad I stumbled into that thread.
I use the builder for building ideas because it gives me the right amount of space to just write notes on what I want. Its the only one that seem to fit right.
Oh and I use both the checklist and the outline for the play schedule. The outline has the dates and I like using the checklist so I can cross things off.

Oh, I'm glad you're planning on updating again! You write such wonderful characters.
And a checklist for the play schedule! Hmmm, that might be a good place for me to start with LSB. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed!

New post up and I'm actually anxious about it. I'm not sure if I hit the notes that I wanted even though I'm content with what's presented from the family. There needs to be more movement with them and I think I'm missing some of their motivation in life. I'm going to have to really plan out what I want to reveal even though their main update won't be seen again until September.

I get agitated when I have to do overseer stuff before I can work on an update.
I want to send the next update family on vacation but I hate the way Twikki Island looks now. It reeks of laziness, not luxury but if you know anything about me you know I can't build a card house let alone a really nice hotel. However, I refuse to do the update unless I can get it up to my standards. Its a good things I'm a bit ahead in my updates or this could push me way back.
Off on a download hunt I go!

I'm behind which is what happens why I try to do too many projects at one time.
I started to re-plan Twikkii island but it's not working out the way that I want it to and can we say frustration. The island needs restaurants, night life entertainment and hopefully a casino. My biggest issue is I can't build at all. Hmm, I guess I better start somewhere.
