It took me a while to figure out how many squares I needed for a lot. My first attempt had just enough room for the mailbox, the bin and maybe a plant or two.
I found having to go in and out of edit in game to build a lot was a bit tedious - it didn't take forever once you remove the DDCache folder but it still did take a few seconds to load and save and then go back into CAW.

I haven't got enough time to mess about with CAW at the moment (Sadface) but have any of you tried any of the worlds that are out there already? Any you can recommend? I'd like some worlds to use as they are and some to customise myself in CAW...

I've tried a few from the exchange, one didn't work (the strangetown one), and the other was the Sunset Valley Aftermath (the post apoc version of Sunset) and that seemed to run fine. I didn't really test it out for that long though but the changes were pretty well made.
I'm waiting for Pyronium3 to release his world. It's the only one I've seen that I am excited enough to want to install and play with extensively.

I think I'd like to try Pyronium3's world as well! It really does look lovely and so detailed! And I had a totally "duh" moment the other day when I went into my game and couldn't figure out what was going on with my CC, and why my game was loading up so wonderfully! I forgot to put the DDCache back in when I took it out to work with CAW. Silly me!
