I've got the teen maternity clothing from Poppy Sims. (Basically downloaded the lot!)
And found 2 'in-teen' over at sexysims.
The problem I have is that one's a core mod that does other things as well - and I don't use core-mods. The other I'm not sure works, as the creator hasn't been around for a while.
Any ideas on how to enable teen pregnancies without a core-mod? I need it for my storyline.

For something like this you'd need a core mod. It's a pretty big game change. You could use Awesome and pick up the config file and disable everything, then pick up the complimentary mod over at Crazy Town.
Hmm, actually, I think I remember two_ft_mama making her pregnancy mod compatible with Twallan's "woohooer" which isn't a core mod. But guests can't view Crazy Town's forum, and I don't wanna sign up at the moment. XP

I'm a member at Crazy Town - so I'll have a check of that! Thanks for that! I use all Twallan's hacks. I did a google search of sims3 and teen pregnancy and only got sexysims in the search. I prefer not to use Core Mods because they become obsolete at each patch or expansion, which at one point was almost every day or week a change. I prefer my hacks to leave the core programming alone. I am wondering if I have to use Awesome though for my story.

I'm with you Kiri. I hate to use core mods. Really the only core mod I have is the one for more than 20 body hacks...I think it's a core mod. Hmm...Twallan is AMAZING! Love his Master Controller! ;D

more than 20 body hacks? Are those the sliders? Or the skin tones? Or something else? I'm not sure I know what you're talking about there. BTW - I've been reading the gang, and I knowing who your av is, he's pretty damn cool! EDIT: I should have known Twallan would be on top of this! ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=4338.0His WooHooer V3, does same sex, teen, risky, attraction, etc, etc. Everything an aspiring Sim-Torturer could want! Yay!!

Yeah, I've been staying away from core mods--I think MDP is talking about the body sliders, just because it does go obsolete with just about every patch. I ran into that same problem w/Fast Track stuff. I really like what the expanded sliders do, but I'm not always willing to wait for a fix before I start playing with new stuff...
I use some of Twallan's things too. I'll definitely need to pick up more when I start the neighborhood play....and I did want something that would make teen pregnancy possible when I start neighborhood play.

Just remember that you still need those extra tuning mods from Crazy Town to make teen pregnancy possible. But yeah, Twallan has thought of everything. Anything Pescado can do, Twallan can eventually do without the need for a core mod. Patches and hacks still make me nervous anyway. I end up checking everything with every single patch release.

Actually Lunar - the new version 3 doesn't need the extra tuning mods. Version 2 did, but Twallan built it into 3.

Really? I did a search for "teen pregnancy" on the first page and got an older comment of his that said it didn't do that but he was thinking about it. Oops, using the wrong search term.
Nice to know when it comes time to update hacks!

Sorry - I was being contradictory without meaning to be - it's 2:30am at night and I tend to type in shorthand at that time (I'm naughty)... What I meant to say was - he said on the first page that you should continue to use twoftmama's tuning file for the option to have the baby at the hospital for teenagers, but later on he says that we don't need 2 tuning mods anymore because this mod now does itPlease forgive the abruptness of the previous comment. edit: and now I'm going to go to bed... (hmmm maybe I need a going to bed smiley?)

I am wondering if I have to use Awesome though for my story. I spent a year debating this one and last week I gave in and downloaded AwesomeMod. More than 8 Sims in a household was just too tempting! I have to say, the mod is really worth updating every time you patch. All it takes is getting the newest version and choosing your config settings. Which allow for a great deal of customization, I was surprised to find. I haven't had any issues since downloading the Mod. In fact thanks to Pescado's 'fix all' debug, I have less! I know there are a lot of other Mods out there that run similar features, but his optional updates on what story progression is doing (i.e. romances and moves) helps a lot in game and is close to how my Vanilla progression worked, so I don't feel overwhelmed. His Sims tracker and 'chosen' status are great too. This is just personal experience, of course. Have a look to see what Mod would work best for how you play and give it a try. All you'd have to do is delete it if you didn't like it.
