Every writer comes across the dreaded "block" at some stage in their writing lives, most times more than once. I came across this interesting article that talks about the reasons behind it and ways to combat it. Fighting Writer's Block

Rather than starting a new thread for every article I come across, I thought I'd post one thread and add to it. Feel free to add if you find anything of interest. Mostly for those looking to publish whether it's online, offline or other. Your Rights

I found this one. It's sort of science fiction focused but I think most of it can apply to any sort of fiction. Common Writing Mistakes

Found this one. A Writing RevolutionI think this one is particularly interesting for us because it relates to people who write online. I really like this last bit.

Not an article, but a book I love about writing is Russell T Davies The Writer's Tale. It's email correspondence between him and a journalist about his process in writing and editing Doctor Who and its spinoffs, and it's fascinating. He works in a similar way to me: lets ideas and characters ferment for ages and ages, delays the actual writing until it's formed more clearly and then writes. It's also a great insight into how much consideration he gives to things and a really fascinating look at the process of a writer. Even if you're not a Who fan, it would probably be an interesting read.
