I love the new update. Lots. Awww, thanks! You beat me here! Of course, I did take a detour to read your Dayes update first. Just commented there.

Nothing can keep the Foliages down for long! Wonderful update.

Finally updated again. Having some text wrap issues. Also, at Moondaisy's request, I have been looking into adding "previous" and "next" tags to my posts. There is no automatic way to do it with the theme I'm using (please correct me if I'm wrong), but I've been looking for some code I could post at the bottom. I tried one thing, and it was a resounding failure. If anybody has any ideas, please share.

I add mine in manually. I type something like:
<-- Previous post
at the end of my post, then I highlight it and click on the link button, and paste in the link to my previous post in the link box that springs up. Same thing for "Next post -->" buttons.
Just be sure that when you're copying and pasting in your post link that you're clicking on your post before you copy the address, otherwise you'll end up just linking back to your main blog instead of the permanent post address.

Doh! Thanks! I should have thought of that. I think I was trying to make it much more complicated. I will try exactly what you're recommending here.
Tell Ed I said hi. ;-)

I read your story from the beginning in the early morning hours this morning, snow on the ground outside, the house as quiet as it ever gets (although that never lasts very long...).
I absolutely love it! The characters are so beautifully developed, the writing, the story, all of it completely charmed me!

Charmed is such a good way to describe feeling when reading this legacy - it's full of the stuff.

~happy dance~ My game works again! I am in the happy minority of those for whom the patch was a blessing, not a curse! I hope there is a fix soon for those who are suffering game ickiness, but meanwhile, I have an update! Wahoo! Gen 3 to 4 Transition

YES!!! All caught up again with the dear Foliages (all but one redhaired "W"itch that is). I left comments on your site, but wanted to tell you here how much I enjoyed reading this. And you recovered really well from your near catastrophe!

Yes, they are pretty much recovered, although fishing seems to be intermittent for higher level fishersims. I am pleased to announce that they ARE now able to collect money from owned businesses once again.
I'm glad you enjoyed the update. Thanks for your kind comments both here and there! I'm working on another update, but it won't be out for another couple of days.

The Foliages have made it into 2010! UpdateI'm currently playing the legacy as if WA were not available to them, except for clothes, home decor, etc. My current plan is to play out the legacy with no traveling, no vespas, no WA LTWs. Does that sound reasonable? I'm a little skittish about post-travel side effects.

I think that's fine. I don't mind the Dayes getting messed up because they're all about the experimenting, but I'd have been the same with the Kyotis.

YAY for the new update! I left a comment on your site, because I don't want to spoil anything for readers on here That sounds like a wise decision. The Foliages are very attached to their land. Although... nectar making could be up their street? Maybe a task for someone else but the heir...

Thanks for the feedback, friends!
Good point about the nectar making. Maybe the 10th generation will take up nectar crafts. :-)
