I have a question and I wondered if anyone here could answer it...
When an elder sim dies, the sims he had close relationships with receive an insurance payment, with the actual amount based on their relationship with the deceased, up to certain maximums. A message comes up telling you how much the closest five sims inherited, but not any more than five - and my very popular elder just left payouts to 43 sims!
My question is, does anyone know of a way, either in game or with a hack/SimPe/whatever, to see the amounts the others inherited? You can see who inherited from their memories, but not how much they each got.
I use a hack that enables bank accounts for individual sims, and I like to have each heir bank their inheritance, particularly children and teens, as it becomes part of their college/first house funds. Its easy to work out if a household has only one person inheriting - just watch the before-and-after household funds - but if there are several in one household its not so simple.
Any ideas??

Oh, I've run into this problem too, particularly with grandchildren. Sorry, I don't know a way to find out what the actual amounts were. I usually just split it down the middle for them, since you know, in real life you're not supposed to play favorites like that with your grandchildren, lol!

If you watch the Sims really closely next time you enter their lot, sometimes you can see the amount they've received floating above their head, accompanied by a ch-ching sound. Sometimes.
I would probably just do as Laura does, for your situation.
