This holiday weekend I'll be attending a funeral. My boyfriend's father has liver cancer and he's gone from healthy to nothing in less than two months. Doctors say he might not make it through thenight.

I'm so sorry! I have heard of two other people (friends of co-workers) just in the past two months who have gone very quickly of liver cancer.
I'll be thinking of you and your boyfriend, and I'll say a prayer that the passing is as merciful as it can be for all involved.

I'm sorry--what a terrible thing. It's a good thing you're around to help your boyfriend through....I'm sure he'll find you to be a great comfort.

His father passed yesterday morning but my boyfriend is doing okay. I think he's relieved that it's over - he doesn't have to see him suffer anymore. Least he lived a good and long life...died at 82.

I'm glad to hear your boyfriend is doing okay.
I was talking with someone just today about birthdays and dreading certain ones (the ones with a "0" at the end, usually), and how some people are just wanting to reach their next one. It can change your perspective.
