Hi there all! My name is Tessa, and I was referred over here by Laura at Lakeside Heights!
If you would like to know anything about me, my name is Tessa (duh, lol, I don't know why I put that again!), I'm in high school at the moment, and I'm an avid Sims nerd!
I go to an Arts magnet school, and I play a truckload of instruments, (piano, oboe, and alto saxophone) and was just recently named the section leader of the All District Band for the oboe section (And there was actually more than one oboe, so it actually counts as an achievement, ha-ha!) and have been doing piano competitions at State Level since I was five. I love to write and read (mostly science fiction, such as Isaac Asimov) and run my own sims blog, Ardania, as well as read about a billion others!
I really love proboards, and helped to set up a website and mod it for my sister's school last year, so if anyone is seriously lost with the proboards layout and such, I'd be happy to help if you need it!
Um... so I guess that's it, I don't want to turn this into an epic or anything, I'll wrap it up now. Thanks for having me on your forum!

Asimov? Really? I LOVE Asimov! Oh, you've done it now, lol. Welcome to the boards. I hope we see you around.

Haha, thanks! I know, I am an absolute Asimov addict! I have all of the Foundation novels, and I have a lot of the robot ones and the Lije Baley series too. Me and my dad share them, since he has about a bazillion books! Lol, I should so do a sim version of an Asimov book! Wouldn't that be pretty much the epitome of nerdiness!

I actually started a TS2 world that was based on a mash up of his stories with the intent on blogging it. Never got to that point though.

Lol! That cracked me up! That's really awesome! Haha, I don't think I'd ever do a blog about that though, I don't have enough time.

Oh hey Tessa! Glad you joined! I totally saw your tweet about practicing for like six hours the other day, lol! That's hardcore! I was a band kid in high school too! I played piccolo in marching band, and I went to State's on flute in my last few years. I kind of gave up flute for guitar though after high school, so that's my primary instrument these days. I also taught myself piano for a couple years and have since forgotten it all, lol! Kind of a closet singer too, but shhh... that's top-secret! I love multi-musical people though! You rock! Glad to have you with us!

Well, this former French horn player is thoroughly impressed by anyone who can play the oboe, contrary beast that it is, yet so eloquent when coaxed effectively. I think I'll ignore the "who needs brass" comment for now ;-) Welcome, Tessa!

Laura, it's okay, I won't tell anyone And dbloveshermac, I guess that some brass people can be pretty cool Actually brass is pretty awesome, the trumpets can be so awe-inspiring and trombones are pretty darn cool! And hey, french horn is a pretty tough instrument to conquer too, so I think congratulations are in order for you! And Rad, Illandrya, and tesseracta, thanks for the welcomes!
