Hi everyone! My name is Adele and I am just your normal, average girl that lives in the USA. Actually, I'm a bit different. I'm still in school and am going for my straight A's, (College is darned hard.) and am lucky to still have a social life after all the studying. I live for theater arts, but left drama in the 6th grade schoolyard. I love writing, and learning each time I sit in front of the comp and type. I also LOVE the Sims and play the Sims 3 now. I've played since the first, when I was barely off bottles and playing on a hundred pound machine. ;D I have a legacy that's fairly new named the Swann Legacy Chronicles. It's in my sig. I really wanted a legacy that had realism. I see about 5873683 legacies that the characters pop in to a blank lot and don't explain their past. And throughout it's just a 2D focus on getting a husband and having a kid...I like how mine is a bit different. I know it will take forever to finish but I'll have a great time on the way. Thanks to Stacy for inviting me to join this forum. I feel all happy and stuff being here. And thanks to YOU for letting me become part of this forum. Adele

YAY!!!!! *jumps up and down* So glad you posted. Oooh, theater arts! What all does that entail? Do you act or do behind the scenes stuff or both? I must admit that in the two legacies I've done, the founders didn't have a past. Well - the second one at least thought about moving away from Pleasantview and the first legacy family, lol. But my first legacy was written in 2005 and so there wasn't much of a legacy culture yet (I think the only two significant legacies at the time were JFed's and SmokerKat's - which did SmokerKat start before me or not? I don't remember. I know she beat the crap out of me on some random "Who is your favorite simmer?" poll I found on some random site once) and hardly any legacy tropes and traditions, so I was feeling my way through a pretty new genre. Anyway - guys, Adele rocks.

Awww I wish I could hug you in real life. You're such a sweet person, I can tell. I was an actress. I did technical theater sophomore year in high school and it was very fun. But acting is ever better. It drives you crazy but it's all worth it. Too bad only a few make it in the acting business. It explains why I'm majoring in graphics design. And are you serious? That's supremely horrible of her. What is with people these days? Like, serious? Ugh, it kills me to think of people like that. *Shudders* You've been through alot. But look where you are now. You have your own pretty little forum and have thousands of loving fans. You rock.

Hi Adele Good to have you here. When you say school/college do you mean school school, or university, or something inbetween? I am trying to learn American at the moment, but y'all have a weird language Looking forward to reading your legacy!

The poll was on like Quizilla or something and neither one of us knew about it, and I just found it googling around like two years after it was posted. I got one vote! I was proud. SmokerKat won the poll, by a good bit. I figure she deserved it - her blog posts were funny and amusing, as opposed to angsty and philosophical. Speaking of pretty forum - need to go post on another intro thread soon and see if Tessa wants to do some skinning or something. Anyway, yay at all the welcomes! OMG. All of you guys rock and I love you all thiiiiiiiis much. And I thought about graphic design at one point of my life. Is it fun? And what sort of roles have you done? Some people I went to high school with were active at our community theater - the Andy Griffith Playhouse. Mt. Airy represent!

Some people I went to high school with were active at our community theater - the Andy Griffith Playhouse. Mt. Airy represent! Oh that makes sense! *smacks forehead* And I agree to a certain degree: a lot of simmers (and people in general) will sit down and read a bubble gum type story with laughs and fun. (even though it doesn't much delve in to emotions and plot.) It's harder to use your brain to put things together and take in the character's thoughts and feelings. But OMG I love angst. Ooh yes, Graphics design is very fun. Very frustrating too. I went to CAL (center for advanced learning) for two years as a highschooler and it taught me to work in a team. Ughhhh, I'd much rather think up a concept and not have to run it through a bunch of people. We had to work with real businesses (did it for free) and our biggest project was to design a logo for a preschool that was opening. Two teams and the one that wins gets a huge party. We won.

Hi Adele! There are a lot of 2D legacies out there, or just regular boring legacies that turn really really weird... I'm excited to read yours though, and I hope you have a good time getting to know VSS!
