Wondering whether anyone adds more than 8 sims to their houses, and if so, what's the maximum number you've gone to? I know you can do it with a combo of Twallan's portrait panel and master controller, and I think you can have up to 24 sims in a house. It'd be really useful to try for photoshoots etc but how game breaking is it? These aren't likely to be households I play with beyond doing shoots, though it might be nice to have more than 8 sims (though not many more!) in a couple of my households when I start the hood.
If I enable more than 8 sims per household does that automatically mean it does it for every game, or just for that save? I am slightly concerned about Bebe or one of the Dayes getting pregnant and delivering unexpected multiples on me if it unlocks the option for all your saves.

I've had about 20 sims on one lot I think, and nothing game breaking. It was a bit laggy, but nothing unbearable. I just had to have a little patience.
I'm pretty sure it will unlock the limit for all saves, but you might want to check the documentation just to be sure that it will affect families of eight trying to get pregnant.
Edit: Oh, also, just forgot to say that I have used Awesome to get more than 8 sims in a house, and then removed Awesome and still had more than 8 sims in a house. Just there were no icons for the extra sims, but it was still possible to select them either right clicking or using the space bar. So if you only want more than 8 sims in a house for a photo shoot, another possibility is only leaving the hack in to combine households and then removing it.
