Yay! I love Gayl so I'll love you too. Wow, that's some dedication. Three years is a very long time. Especially when working with someone else - it's great that you guys have managed to be friends for so long. I'm all glad that you came and I hope you stick around.

Yay! I'm glad you decided to come over. ^__^
I am always amazed each time I read Sessions and look over the character bios at the details and the photos and the way everything weaves together. And that you two are able to work together on it astounds me! Always wonderful work and fun to read.

thanks for the welcome! So many of the people here have such stellar reputations! thanks Stacy! I hope I can live up to Gayl (probably not though). and thank you Lunar Fox for the wonderful compliment! *blushing* We do have a summary of the whole series; it's not very long. A couple of people have read it instead of the entire thing and the feedback I've received is that it works pretty well, even if I think it sounds kind of lame. Welcome, sb! I've heard about your work, but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. I find it intriguing that you work in collaboration with someone--I can't imagine how that's done. I'm sure you'll find plenty of fun stuff to look at around here.

Thank you both! I'm excited about reading the work by everyone here! Not only has everything I've read so far been fantastic, but the different strategies and voices always astonish and inspire me.

Hi SB! I'm DB. :-) I think we need to recruit EB through RB now, don't you? Pity E.B. White's not around anymore…
I'm impressed with your three-year collaboration! Do you find that working with another person helps you maintain your commitment to the project? ~curious~
I am putting your work on my reading list for the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. That's my annual Treat Myself Week. (Everybody should have a TMW, don't you think?)

Hi DB! ha yeah, go for the whole alphabet of B people! And I've love a Treat Myself Week!
To answer your question, absolutely yes working with another person has made a huge difference. Working with Gayl kept me from quitting any number of times over the past 3 years. Everybody gets discouraged, hits dry spells, runs smack into RL. She kept me going, and I probably did the same for her. We really enjoy the whole process. I wouldn't do it if I wasn't having fun. Like my husband told me one very bad day, if you want to work hard at something you don't like, go get a job.
I love your Foliage Legacy! I read it this morning and was absolutely hooked! I'm slowly working my way through everything here, and it's all wonderful. In a couple of cases I'm not sure where to start, but I'm asking when I don't.
Which brings me to another issue.
You may not be comfortable with our work - it's not erotica (aka porn), but we don't hold back on language, and there's some nudity. We have 'adult' warnings on the blog. I never take offense if someone tells me that's just not their cup of tea. If you do decide you want to read it, I'd recommend reading the summary and going forward from there; you'll be able to skip the strongest sections that way.
Either way, thank you for the welcome!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll take your suggestion and start with the summary and see how it goes. :-)

I've found your TOC and will be working my way through the whole thing from there but which is the best address to use to link to you, and what should I label the link as?! Is there a name for the overall project?

Rad, you're a brave woman to attempt to read the entire series! The early work is...well it's three years old. It's rough; the shots are not good; the chapters are way too long (WAY too long); and it rambles. We considered just taking it down, replacing it with a summary, but some of our readers objected so we left it up. I think Gayl and I would both recommend starting with Sessions and reading the summary/recap instead of ploughing through the old work. (Even the early Sessions chapters don't look so good now; they're almost a year old.) That said, I guess Sessions ( ddsessions.blogspot.com) is the primary link. I want to add that I read your Kyoti Legacy this morning and absolutely loved it!! Moving on to the Lazarus Dispatches. Thank you so much for the help in finding where to start!

Haha, I'm a completist. I want the full story, to get a feel of the whole world and also how your style/collaboration developed over time. Will link to Sessions then. Glad you liked my lil' ol' Legacy.

I think you do your early work a disservice. I'm in the second set/cycle of posts now and enjoying it a lot (though I agree about the long chapters ) - if this is the bad stuff, then I am really excited for the good stuff.

Rad! You got that far? I swear I will never do a long chapter again as long as I live. I don't know how anyone ever got through them. I learned not to do that. Surprised I didn't drop over with exhaustion doing them. I got up to date with the Lazarus Dispatches and just love them. Such a different writing style but it absolutely works!!

Thank you, carnaxa. I'm not sure I really have anything to offer here. I don't use TS3 - just can't at this point. But thanks!
