Before I start, just know that I'm not being mean, I'm just stating what I think should be done.  1. Banner, a nice banner would be perfect. 2. This is a code that makes the forums much easier to view, obviously you can take it out if you don't want it, but in many simmers opinions it makes the site look much more professional. <script type="text/javascript">

I was thinking about our site banner today and I thought: Why not take the main character from all of our stories and combine them into one spiffy banner? That way the banner would be a part of us all?

Nice idea, MondayMorning! Your name makes me think of M&Ms… oops, sorry, wandered off topic for a minute. Anyway, I like the idea of a melange of character images and possibly key words or phrases from various stories, all formed into a banner.

It'd work, I mean, twelve Sims isn't that hard to fit in a banner, but what happens if we get one new member after we make the banner? I'd be up for the challenge, but I can't crop to save my life. |

Ooh, I was just thinking, since most of us do non-sims writing as well, could we have a sub-thread dedicated to that?

Hmmm, I've been thinking about this for awhile now...could we make a sub-thread (or whatever) for completed stories so that new members would know that they are finished, not that the stories aren't being updated??? Because once stories get pushed to the second or even third page, new readers/members/viewers usually won't go that far back to view things.
Just a suggestion.

Guess I hadn't thought of it because not many of us had completed our stories. I'll do it in a bit - if anyone's got a completed story let me know and I'll move the thread to the new forum when I get it made. |

Okay, completed stories forum up! Moved the stories I knew were completed to it, except Inside Hope Springs because that one has been deleted.  If I missed any completed stories, let me know. |

Do you think it's ok to steal an idea from another site?  That site being BlackPearlSims...ok, I'll try not to word these confusingly. Though lots of us use the Sims as a virtual illustrator, we all build wonderful houses and sets and Simmies to go along with the stories. Do you think it would be awesome if we had a section for Albums, pictures of our games/drawings/madness/etc... Just another suggestion.  |

I think that would be great! I'm on another forum that has Member Albums and I enjoy them! Find myself looking through them every chance I get!
