... this was too good (bad?) not to share - my "you know you've been playing sims too much..." moment: I'm sitting on a plane, kind of half-dozing, and its flying relatively low, approaching the airport... and I'm looking down on these farmhouses and things... and I catch myself thinking "I wonder how they placed the lots so far from the road" BTW, if anyone thinks the Shakespeare-naming thing in Veronaville is silly, they should try visiting here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=arC7oFDNACQI'm staying in Juliet St

LOL! That's too funny! We are crazy, aren't we? I often find myself categorizing RL people in terms of aspirations - like I'll be talking to my hubby and thinking, OMG, you're such a fortune Sim, with a popularity secondary! LOL! I can almost see him rolling wants "make some money," "go to work," "afraid of being enemies with..."

Oh, oh, I have done the same thing with seeing life in sim terms! I saw an armchair one day that made me think of that middle-of-the-road, less-than-attractive TS2 chair. Poor people must have needed a promotion to upgrade, lol!
I also pass the time waiting in lines at the post office or grocery store by imagining what traits the people would have if they were TS3 sims. That guy with the unkempt beard and the shifty eyes? He's a kleptomaniac slob. The snippy cashier? She's a mean-spirited snob, and unfortunately for the eggs, I bet she's also clumsy… The guy in the next line over with the well-defined musculature and the impossibly clear green eyes? Well, he's athletic, probably a great kisser, and I bet he has bought the eye candy reward. :-)

Haha - my hotel last week had the same lights as they have in TS3 (those art deco type ones) but a different colour, and I was looking out of the plane trying to get inspiration for CAW.
And yeah, I also see people in terms of traits and wants sometimes, and I notice when people's hair looks sim-like. Sigh. Too much simming...

Heck, when I'm driving to town and back I see some pretty awesome houses that I've always wanted to try and build on the Sims. ;D Make some fake badge, say I'm from EA Games and we would like to build your house for the next Sims game, now remove your roof. HAHA! Cinnamin Toast Crunch
