Thought I'd start a TS3 bug thread.
Recently, I installed the Chaos Mod Painting, the No ZZZs and the Book of Talent. Now, I copied the dll file from the The Sims 3 Game Bin file to the World Adventures Game Bin file so Chaos Mod Painting would work.
However, I noticed a rather interesting glitch but I can't be sure it's any of the above hacks causing it. So if you use any of these hacks, let me know if you've experienced this problem:
A sim was on the top landing. I pointed for her to go about 3/4 steps forward. She started to walk forward then sunk through the floor and landed on the ground floor where she went up the stairs to get to the spot I wanted her to go which was right in front of her in the first place.
Also, a clear unobstructed path to seat/object and the sim seems to think there is something in the way despite there being nothing in the sims route path.
Ideas?
Thanks for taking a look at my rather strange bug.

Oh! Oh! I've had the sinking through the floor thing, and I don't use any hacks!
Someone posted on the EA TS3 forum that it can happen to sims who've been moved by the moveobjects cheat (which I had done with the sinking sim in my game). She said it can be cured by teleporting the sim via cheat (I wonder if the LTH reward teleporter would do the same), but I haven't tried it yet.
Hope this helps!

Oh thanks so much DB! I was a bit worried as I relay on those hacks for my storytelling. I don't have the teleporter so I better hunt down this cheat.
Thanks again! It does help a lot!

I don't think you need a teleporter, just to teleport the sim. Turn on the testing cheats and then shift click on the ground and teleport the sim. I think I just had this happen to my poor little Brandon sim and this trick worked. Thanks!

I know I've had no real problems with the Chaos Mod since I redownloaded it for WA. In fact, I hadn't even known it was updated until recently! Whoops! And I should redownload the No ZZZ mod because "killing" a sim with big Z's floating above their head is rather annoying. As far as the route-fail... I have noticed a bit of wonkiness with my own sims. Most of the time when I ask them to take two steps forward, or to even cross the house, it automatically cancels out of the queue until I can get them to do something else in their immediate area before they do what I wanted them to in the first place. Do you have Awesome Mod? And if so, is it up to date? I know they just released a new patch (just updated my game this morning) so any mods/hacks we may have may also cause issue in the future. Edit: I just went into my game post patch update and it's now really laggy. I'm going to take AM out right now, but not my Chaos Mod because I think AM is a bigger culprit than that. Also, I don't know if this is a bug or not, but all of my sims' clothes look great in CAS, but as soon as I exit, the clothes look poorly made and blotchy. I have a lot of clothing from Liana and her clothes have always been crisp, CAS or in game, but I don't quite know what's going on now...

Has anyone experienced their YA or Adult socks replicating while in CAS? I have a feeling it's to do with something I've downloaded, but it's just the weirdest thing! And, I'm going to have to do an uninstall and reinstall. I think I'll hold off on WA for a while and just go with the base game as long I'm able. My in game sims look like poop when they didn't before. And MTS is no help, nor the BBS, or Yahoo Answers. I saved the important things, like my simmies from The Deal, so let's hope they work after the reinstall! *fingers crossed*

Having done the reinstall/uninstall so many times now, I feel your pain. Hope everything goes well with it!
I don't have awesome mod installed. I tried it once ages ago and my game exploded in a mess and I've never touched it since.
I just have major bad luck with this game I think.

Monday, your socks are replicating?!? Maybe that's where the socks go when they disappear from my laundry... ;-)

The only problem that I've really had is the fact that if I stop an interaction of Sim at a community lot they will stay there frozen forever. Matter what I have them do; they will not move. Everyone else goes on their merry way. I know because I fast forwarded a few days. It's horrible because Jack's one of those Sims...I really really don't want to have to delete him then copy and place him back into the house. It's a pain really. I didn't notice a new patch...my game hasn't told me to update...and I won't be unless desperately needed, especially if your right Monday Morning about the new patch contradicting with Liana's clothes. Well that is...unless the new patch can fix the bug I reported above. Poor Jack

Have you tried the resetsim cheat for the frozen sim? That usually helps with most problems, except the sinking one mentioned above.

Yes, it does not compute...it's very annoying. The sinking one is a glitch with moveobjects. It did that to me in TS2 as well. But not yet with TS3. ;D pea soup...
