Hello people, allow me me to introduce myself. My name is Ida and I live in Denmark (also known as the world's most boring country). I am 15 years old, and after the summer holiday I'm gonna start in 9th grade.
I'm planning to start a Sims-story soon, but it doesn't even have a name, or a plot. If anyone has an idea for a story, but doesn't have time to write it, I'd be glad to help you out
My biggest dream is to become a writer, and I'm working on a wannabe-novel.
By the way, I'm smiley addicted, so you'll see a lot ^^ --' and xD

Hi! I am also addicted to smileys, lol. And hey - my biggest dream is also to become a writer. So already I can see that we will be friends. For me the plot has always come after starting the story - I think about the characters and how they would interact and then a plot starts to come from that. And names can also often come after the story, when you know what it's about. So that sounds normal to me. Hope you like it here.

Hello! Good to see you here.
Re: starting points - three suggestions:
1) Look at some of the story prompts in the Exercises section here and see if they spark you off.
2) Create some sims in CAS and see what their characters suggest to you in terms of a story.
3) Try a challenge like a legacy, DIFT, apocalypse, WYDC etc and see how the story of that challenge develops.

Welcome! Nice to properly meet you. Well, if you ever need any help or advice once you get started, feel free to ask. There are plenty of great resources on this board in the form of brains. Tasty, imaginative brains.

Hi Imagination Oo! I like your tagline. :-) <-- a smiley for you!
Hey, doesn't Denmark own Iceland? That's not boring! And neither is being the birthplace of Great Danes! Marmaduke and Scooby Doo are both Great Danes, aren't they?

Denmark doesn't own Iceland anymore. I can't remember when it became an independent country.
I think Scooby Doo is a Great Dane. I have no idea what Marmaduke is though.
I live like ... half an hour from where Hamlet is buried ^^

Hello, Ida Oo! I speak dutch and had to smile when I saw the title of your introduction. I don't think Denmark is boring at all and I think you are very courageous. When Hitler wanted the Danish Jews to wear the yellow star, every Dane did the same, Jewish or not and it saved so many lives! I'm so looking forward to reading one of your stories when you've found inspiration. I'm sure you will... just look around you. The game is a lovely source as well. You could start off by blogging about a mini challenge like I did. Anything that floats your boat, really!

Hi Ida! I agree with Stacy and Rad, create your characters first and the story ideas will naturally evolve from there Welcome to VSS! Glad to have you here!
