I never would have come up with a title like that! But it is completely perfect! Wonderful update! It keeps getting more and more complicated, and the characters become clearer and clearer.

And I think I better spoiler my reply. Just in case  I can make some guesses about that - it's an anniversary for you, but it's an anniversary for Veronika as well, and death/missing anniversaries are hard. There's a real feeling of the joy that Veronika had as a child waking up, being transmuted into this bittersweet memory.
If you were channelling Veronika at all - then that's a lot of difficult feelings to write about - very ambivalent - the joy of childhood vs the pain of loss. Happy Anniversary!!! |
