Well, I've read the early stuff now and really enjoyed it, so if that's the stuff you feel a bit embarrassed by, then I'm very very excited for what's to come!

Yup - Even 'sunny' Melbourne where I live can be exotic in it's own when will it stop raining way.  I've finally caught up - and I have to say - it's exceptionally well-written. I'm impressed! I love the whole spy-sim angle and you do it very well. The relationships between all the characters are good too - 3D and I love all their little quirks and idiosyncracies that you've included. Thanks Kiri! I'm feeling a little better about it now, still a little nervous, though. Not sure how some of those who followed me from TSR are going to feel about the departure from light and fluffy - although I know that's their issue, not mine. Exactly. Their issue. I love the people from TSR that read, but, yes, they do prefer light and fluffy, daisies and sunshine. Do what you feel advances your story, your narrative. On that note, I have my tea, off to read your update! |

omg it is NOT too wordy!! I love the pace you set, it's so smooth and yet it races down the page - loved what you did with this, and it does have that 'got totally inspired and let it smash down the hill' feeling. WONDERFUL!!
