I'm finally putting a thread up here; I guess I'm feeling brave today! Anyway, I know some of you already read Sullivan but for those who don't, it's here! Sullivan is my TS2 hood, currently home to about 110 Sims, over roughly 30 households. It started out much smaller and as mostly a gameplay thing but has gradually shifted to where we are now, which is a fairly healthy mix of storytelling and gameplay. Newbies might want to check out this post and maybe this one for more of my blather on that. I update a few times a week so rather than bumping this thread up to the top every other day, I'm planning to update this every Saturday, listing all the updates for that week. This week, we've had: Rebecca, one of my college kids My much larger second college householdAmar, Jacob and Dominic, a group of bachelor roommates, and today, Anna and Emil, a middle-aged couple with two kids currently in college.

Yay a thread! I'll have a read of it tomorrow I think - I'm a bit distracted from reading today. I love reading from the beginning, but I don't comment until I get to the most recent post - so if I have comments on the older ones - I'll add them here.

Thanks, guys! Kiri, I read blogs in much the same way. Sometimes I throw in a comment at the very beginning to let the blogger know I'm reading but I usually wait until I'm all caught up. So however you like is fine by me. Rachel, you seem like you're going so fast, based on your last comment! I'm always very flattered (although sometimes mildly embarrassed) when someone wants to go back and read everything. Laura, thank you. That is such a huge compliment! I'm pretty proud of Sullivan.

Yay, I'm glad you have your own thread here now too. I think you've noticed I tend to read all your updates at once, usually on Saturdays, so it'll be handy for me to see the weekly updates. Sullivan has definitely grown so much. It's been a pleasure to read and watch.

I'll be there soon, so glad you started a thread, and thanks for explaining the difference between a legacy and a challenge at your blog, I really knew NOTHING about either one! And I like the idea of you posting weekly updates as well!

I haven't commented so much in your blog - but I'm really enjoying reading about your families - they're so complex, yet so engaging. I'm loving it.

Very possibly! I always seem to have at least one wedding in the works. I have three currently and that's not even including this week's maybe.

Hey I know this is an old post but I've been jumping into your updates when I had the chance. I went back through the beginning and found this post: sullivansims.blogspot.com/2008/11/first-family.html. I just wanted to remark while it's still fresh in my mind that I absolutely LOVE that method for creating sims. I don't have a lot of chances to create sims for my story in BS, but this this was a great idea!

Oh, thank you - glad you liked it! I don't get a lot of excuses to make new Sims myself these days. But the features of those two Sims are still quite dominant in the Kirby family tree, so it made for some distinctive Sims.
