Area for Announcements?

Should we have an area for announcements, like we have an IRL area and a New Members area? The cross-forum announcement capability is great, but it seems to take you back to the area where it was first posted, whether it was Story Babble or whatever. Maybe it's just me, but I get lost easily, lol.

What do you think? Would it be an improvement or a complication?

At the moment, I've purposely made it a cross-forum announcement... but it's quite possible to make it just a IRL forum announcement. That would make it only seeable from the IRL forum.

Do we really have enough announcements to need an area for it?
