I want to return to a couple of comments made earlier, specifically about supporting characters.
You do a very good job riding that thin line between highlighting 'minor' characters and getting distracted with tangents. I find it fascinating when you can see the main character from another perspective. 'Our Hero' might not be a hero from his neighbor's point of view, and the neighbor may have very valid reasons for feeling that way. As an example, when we started addressing infidelity, the 'Other Man' got hisses and boos all round at first. Eventually that changed, and changed so dramatically that Other Man sort of became the hero. (Not that he was; nobody was.) Anyway, I'm getting distracted.
It's just something I find both intriguing and difficult to pull off. I love the way you do it.

After reading your post, SB, I couldn't help thinking, "Who me?" lol!
Thank you. That's exactly what I'm going for. I know it's been said before, but everyone is the hero of their own story. The people who pass through my life has their own stories going on, and it's important for me to capture that when I write.
Everyone is good and bad. So many people blur the line that I try to never judge or presume IRL either.

I agree with sb. It's really interesting to see scenes from different perspectives since it gives everything more depth.

First chapter is now up along with the beginning of the Chapter index. Did you know you can schedule Blogger to post stuff too? I guess that's new or something. Just found that out tonight. OH, and I haven't updated the map yet, but I do want to say that I haven't forgotten Moondaisy! I'm just really bad with maps, so anything I do is not to scale.

Belated Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Just saw the map and the extra info on the Southlands. Thank you very much. Also read the latest post. You write in an enthralling way, Lunar. I was totally and effortlessly transported into your world once again. Thank you!

Incredible update!
What are you building would make Hari Seldon proud. Or mad. But he would take notice.

LOL! <3 Seriously. When I think of the Neutrals and the Wildlanders, I do think of Foundation in the back of my head.

Oh man...what a chilling update. Edy saw some real horrors, and Paula is starting to see them as well. It's just so good, as always--I'm always left clamoring for the next chapter!

New chapter. I think this entry has taken the longest amount of time of any of my entries. I've been working on it since last night getting the pictures and fixing the text. Of course, I've also been taking lots of breaks. ;D

Hi Lunar! Already left a message on your site and you already replied, but I just wanted to say here that I enjoy this story tremendously. I'm totally drawn into this world and actually dreamt of men with intricate tattoos on their back the other night... and loved it!
