I debated for awhile about creating a babble thread. Some of my thoughts: Who really wants to read this stuff? Am I interesting? Will everyone realize I'm crazy? Well, better to find out now right? I'm starting off with a character mosaic. Been meaning to do these forever. First up is....Chuck! 1. First Name: Chuck (Actually it’s Charles, which means free man. That is the opposite of my life right now.) 2. Favorite Food: Cheeseburgers (well, it used to be) 3. Favorite Color: Blue 4. Favorite Weather: Light rain 5. Birthplace: Redwood, California 6. Favorite Book: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest 7. One of the things I love most in the world: My brother 8. One of my hobbies: Dying my hair crazy colors 9. Favorite Band/artist: Angst Rockets 10. If you had one wish: I’d have her back 11. One Word That Describes Me: Confused 12. Something else: I play a mean game of Scrabble |

Awww, poor Chuck. It must be so difficult for him to be able to have some of the things from his old life but not, it seems, the things that really matter - like his brother and his old love. At least he can still dye his hair crazy colours (much to Phil's disgust). Yes, there is that silver lining. I love it! I miss Chuck. Why do you miss him? He's still around. Here's another mosaic. I've been having a harder time with these than I thought. I can get through most of the questions and then a couple will take a long time to answer. Favorite book in particular has been difficult. Next up is Phil, who was really easy to do. The first picture was tough though. I just went with Phil Collins 'cause it made me laugh. 1. First Name: Philippe (Just call me Phil. Everyone else does.) 2. Favorite Food: AB negative 3. Favorite Color: emerald green 4. Favorite Weather: breezy 5. Birthplace: Paris, France 6. Favorite Book: I can’t pick one. I adore all the Sherlock Holmes stories. 7. One of the things I love most in the world: my house 8. One of my hobbies: Reading 9. Favorite Band/artist: Fiona Apple 10. If you had one wish: Everyone would behave themselves so I’d get more sleep. 11. One Word That Describes Me: Bored 12. Something else: I cannot abide by shabbily dressed people. Unfortunately I am constantly surrounded by them. |

Heh, Phil is my personal favorite character! (followed by Chuck who I'm hoping won't turn out to be an evil monster, okay?!!  ) This mosaic suits Phil perfectly. What a catastrophe to have Chuck, the man with the weirdest sense of fashion, staying at his place, hehe!! |

Yeah - I know he has been - I haven't. I was away for a fortnight, and hadn't had time to catch up on his doings. I went and read him today and it was like visiting a well-loved friend I do love your story! |

Everybody loves Phil! He's also the most fun to write. Often I have to cut his lines down for length.

Been awhile since I posted a chapter. Wasn't even terribly busy this time. I was just having a hard time figuring out how to tell the next chapter. So I decided to take a new tactic. I took the photos first. I have almost all the photos done, and then I'll add the words. So hopefully chapter ten will be up later this week. Until then, I've got another mosaic, this time it's for Delia. 1. First Name: Delia 2. Favorite Food: Spaghetti 3. Favorite Color: Red 4. Favorite Weather: Sunny but cool 5. Birthplace: Redwood, California 6. Favorite Book: Pride and Prejudice 7. One of the things I love most in the world: my law degree 8. One of my hobbies: cooking 9. Favorite Band/artist: Angst Rockets 10. If you had one wish: There would be more than 24 hours in a day 11. One Word That Describes Me: Determined 12. Something else: I want to believe in love. I really do. But sometimes it’s really hard. I've also got a few nuggets from the next chapter. Nothing spoiler-y, just a few images and the title. Which is...drum roll please...Shark in the Water. Now I'm off to enjoy this Super Bowl Sunday. I don't follow football and I have no idea who's playing, but Glee's coming back after it. That's what it's all about for me.  |
