CSOM: is trying to figure out what I'm going to do for a new contest at BlackPearlSims...it's a video challenge...I've got a lot of stories...a lot of thoughts and ideas...but really crappy video skills.

Pink: I think you doing OU is a great thing. Mdp - Can you do a collaborative thing with someone else who has video skills, or does it have to be individual?
CSOM: Sore - I had a filling replaced today and she had to drill really deep and inject me twice. Also a bit sad still about the death of Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who/The Sarah Jane Adventures) yesterday.

Mdp - Can you do a collaborative thing with someone else who has video skills, or does it have to be individual? It's all individual. As long as I don't have to move the camera, I think I'll be fine...but it's hard for me because as radical picture taker...I try to cover every angle possible. Maybe I can still do that, but not why the film is rolling.

CSOM: that this is a great idea.
Also that I'm incredibly tired from working at 4am all week and not being recovered from time changes. Also very frustrated that I'm on call throughout the easter weekend with this project that nobody can seem to do right (including me). Which means lots of calls, and no time for me, or family I haven't seen in 6 months.
But also happy to be back here.

Signed for a three-month long, free on-line creative writing lesson. May I say my first creative writing lesson ever, if one ignores high school English class assignments.
Now in between Lesson I and II, I am now only beginning to realize, oh goodness gracious, what have I gotten myself into.
Number of classmates, names to remember, assignments that I need to give peer feedback to = 30+
Word count of each assignment = 400-500 Each assignment's required reading load = 12,000 - 15,000 words.
I am already boggle-eyed towards the end of Lesson I.
Oh, editors and reviewers of the many publications, you have truly won my deepest respect.

One of my Australian cousins has given birth to her second. Lily Anne to join her big bro and cousins over there. My brother is a little irritated because it probably means Lily is off the table for his baby (the extended family still don't know he's pregnant) so chances are the baby will be an Olivia now. Which of course was the number one baby name in England and Wales last year for the second year running. Lily was number eight but it sounded better than Olivia to us.

The kind of sis in law came round last night for dinner. She's nice, plus bro is being a lot nicer to her now, and they are properly talking again. We don't know why but she is still completly smitten with him.

Pink -- I hate it when people steal baby names that I want! Even though its unintentional. On the plus side, Olivia can easily be shortened to Liv, or even Lily if you want.
So far my fiances sister has properly taken all 3 of my favourite baby names, without even meaning too. Great minds think alike doesn't seem to comfort much does it?

Nobody has stolen my dream names thank goodness. Well there are alot of possible names out there to choose from, so I'm sure something else can pop into your head should the need arise.
On a stranger note work is deciding to fund me to do an NVQ2 in business studies. By the look of it though, it doesn't mean extra home work for me as it is all observed at work, with example of work being copied to use etc, which is nice and simple with no assignements, especially seeing as my degree has 4 assignments in module one with a month for each one. Massive fun. I haven't started yet and I'm beginning to remember what I hated about education.

I go to the Parents Connect websites for inexhaustible supply of baby names: babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/Call me a dork if you must, but I just can't stand to have more than two of Johns or Jens walking about the neighborhood.

choco: try yoga or something relaxing that gives you time back to yourself -- @rad: hang in there CSOM after reading all the updates: I'm a tad upset, but I didn't know where to put it. VSS is not the same place it used to be and I'm at a lack of how to help reinvigorate it. I would just like to say that nobody hates anyone here, we were never that kind of place. This forum was whatever we needed it to be whenever we needed it to be, and now I'm not sure what exactly it is. I will hang in there though! And I hope the rest of you will too.

simslia: I love yoga. Granted, I haven't done a complete session in about a week so I'm hoping to do that sometime this week without any interruption. I agree about the forum. I haven't been around for as long as some of you but I have noticed the change myself. It's a bit sad since, for my first few months, this was such a welcoming and nice place to be. I'm trying to be an optimist and hang in there too.
CSOM: a little tired but determined to finally finish this long overdue post.

Completely terrified about my first assignment. I'm going to have to really get my bum in gear and start this. I have 3 weeks to do this assignment. I psyched myself up to do this thing, and signed up on a weird whim after months of umming and aahing over it, and now it's started and my deadline is so soon and I'm panicking.
