This has just cheered me up. It's one of those great songs you can just singalong to.

Another motivational song from me - This one gets me out of bed in the morning. You really can't sleep through it.

Stacy's shouts of freedom and liberty reminded me that I haven't tuned into my favorate freedom song for a while. www.uulyrics.com/music/hans-zimmer/song-mother-africa/Mother Africa from the soundtrack of the movie The Power of One, about South Africa's struggle against apartheid. Powerful, powerful song. Ignore the Youtube images. They don't really go well with the theme of the song.

Kiri's last one got me thinking of this one. I remember hearing it at the opening of the paraolympics one year on the tv. Must ahve been when Aus opened. Really sticks in your head and gets you jumping.

Everybody listen to this song! I'm absolutely in love with it! Oh, the soft guitar, the delicate piano, the inspiring lyrics and swoon-worthy vocals, lol! It just melts my heart! I might have to leave my hubby to marry this band (yes, all five of them at once!) just so they can all sing to me, lol!

The "Where the Hell is Matt?" video always makes me smile. And the song is pretty good, imo.
Also, last year's Eurovision Flashmob Dance.
I suppose lots of people dancing have a very special place in my heart.

Catchy song the Madcon one. It doesn't feel like a Eurovision thing without Graham Norton commenting over the top of it all. He's much better at it than Wogan. Cool video though. Do other countries have that? Soemone commenting on the activities injecting humour and being a bit kind of sarcastic about the whole thing, insulting the judges in a fun non insulting way and everything? Don't panic the UK'S entry is suitably rubbish this year as normal, not that we'd win anyway seeing as it's all about block voting with your neighbours and we don't have any and not even Ireland supports us. Although even if we split Wales and Scotland up from us for the purpose of Eurovision we still wouldn't win. Hold on do you actually watch the Eurovision in non Euro countries?
But then I liked this one for winning in 07. Exactly what Eurovision should be catchy cheesy songs.
What you have to do is get Kerry Ellis on their with Brian May on guitar, and Europe loves Kerry, as does America, well all the many Wicked fans and Sweden because she did sell out a Swedish tour. Now that's an idea.

I just heard this on the radio recently and loved it. I wasn't sure about these guys but their sound is just so different to what is out there atm. I dunno, maybe it's how he sings - but I love the beat too.
Don't mind me. lol
