Twelve Mosaic QuestionFirst Name: Quiana which is pronounced the same as Kiana. My mother had an obsession with Q’s. Favorite Drink: Washington Apples Favorite Color: Hot pink One of my hobbies: I make clothes. Things I love most in the world: Tattoos and Accents!!! Dream Vacation: Africa Favorite Food: Tacos What was your favorite book in childhood? The very hungry caterpillar Favorite Weather: Fall days at sunset. Cool and slightly warm Something Else: I have a HUGE fear of big bodies of water! One Word That Describes Me: goofy Tell us about yourself - What you do for a living? Daycare provider, full time student and mommy. Eight Long QuestionsHow did you start writing, i.e. what happened that made you realize that writing was your thing? I grew bored with playing TS2 and googled “How to make Sims 2 fun” and through that search I stumbled upon a story called “Winchester Legacy” by Phoenix. Through that I discovered “Dark December” by Beth and Gayl and from that point, I was inspired and gave it a try. It wasn’t until I received comments from my motivators that I realized I should continue with writing. Who is your favorite character of your own? I have two. Leyna and Prince Charming. Leyna because she is an open book. She is the side of me that is willing to try new things and will not hesitate to say what’s on her mind. Prince Charming because he is mysterious and GOOD at what he does. He is very seductive and his personality comes to me very easily. What is your favorite quote? Two wrongs don’t make a right but it will damn sure make me feel better! How long does it take you to create a new character for a story? Anywhere between a few days and a week. I like to give my character’s personalities that are memorable. If I have to stop and think about what type of person they would be or if an action is out of character, then in my eyes, they’ll fade and I’ll want to write them out. How emotionally attached are you to your characters? I am emotionally attached to only one of my characters, Naslie, because she has more than 90% of me in her. Her struggles and hardships are based on actual events that have been tweaked slightly. I feel everything she goes through and I can identify with her reasons for her actions. Have you ever written something that you really wish you could change when you look back at it? Yes. Now that I am at the end of my first season of Colorblind, I wish I would have made my main characters teenagers. Tell us about yourself - Your interests, I try my hand in everything. If I see something as a challenge, I try it until I feel I’ve perfected the craft and move on to something else. I taught myself how to sew when I was 19. By 21, I was making dresses for friends and Friday night dresses for myself. I’m obsessed with reading, and I‘m a wanna-be Betty Crocker. Do you like using aliens, vampires, zombies or any other non "normal" characters? I’ve never used any non-human characters but am currently working on changing that.

I was so happy to see you went ahead and posted one of these, and then I got to the part about Phoenix and Gayl and me and...well it's been a long difficult few months and you made me cry. If I had any influence on your decision to post your wonderful work, I'm thrilled! Your writing is passionate, articulate, edgy and brave. And BEAUTIFUL!
I love your mosaic (that's one great drink you got LOL!). And I have a question: why would you prefer to have used teenagers in Colorblind? And another question: out of all the gorgeous guys in your work, which of them would you prefer to have a romantic encounter with?

Stacy: Awww love you too! You can ask me anything that comes to mind. Even questions that may not be on here. Pinkfiend1: I loved that book so much I have been trying to find it in the stores for my son! I bought him the board game and he loves it so much I just know he'd like the book. Jennifer: Yup that's The Rock! His tattoos always make me drool so I thought he'd be perfect for this! S.B: If it weren't for you and Stacy, I probably would have backed out of it. Aww I made you cry? The three of you brought me out of the Shadows! I was so scared of my story not being read, and that I would get a bunch od negative comments but the day I received comments for the three of you, I was honored! With each update that (all)you posted and continue to post, I am even more motivated and press on even when I feel like it might be pointless. I would have prefered to to use teens in Colorblind because it would have broadened the range for me to work in. Now that I am on my last prompt and being asked to do a sequel for it my brain is working overtime to narrow down a solid plot for it. If I'd gone with teenages, I could have forced a second separation and maybe more of those topics and issues that people don't like to include in their stories. Hmmm that's a tough question lol. I'd have to say Wilson. He has his head on straight and is an all around great guy. You know a little of my history with a certain man that didn't go so well. Wilson would be a breath of fresh air to me. A type of man I've never experienced but would be happy to have. Thank you all! Like I told Stacy, feel free to ask me anything. It doesn't have to be a question that was listed. I'll answer. Oh and by the way, that fourth picture is one of my creations from two years ago.

I've had bad experiences with Amazon. Sad thing is, I trust ebay more. May give that a try. Thanks!

I love your mosaic - so full of heat!
My aim is to use some downtime soon to finish reading Colorblind and I'll probably have more questions then.

OK, I have a question now. Where do your prompts for Colorblind come from, and how do you decide which ones to use in which order?

I love that mosic and the dress in the 4th picuture is beautiful. I ony wish I had learned how to sew. My question is about your fear of large bodies of water. Where did that come from? Have you ever learned to swim (might help overcome the fear)?
