Just posting to apologize for the lack of chapters over the past month. School's been keeping me super busy. I fired up the game for the first time in a month yesterday. I think I'll be able to get a new chapter up in a week or two though.
I have posted some fun little photo shoots with my [post] mortem sims on my dreamwidth if anyone wants to check those out.
So, sorry for the delay, but [post] mortem isn't going anywhere.

I'm having problems leaving a comment on your Dreamwidth site, but this story is absolutely wonderful! Fascinating storyline, bright compelling characters, and fantastic shots!

I'm going to comment here - I don't have an openid or dreamwidth id to be able to comment.
I've been reading all of this, and am seriously impressed with the shots you're getting out of Sims3. I'm mind-boggled. Example: teeth, attacks, blood, etc, etc. Just boggled!
I love the story itself. The characters are very endearing - and I love the quirks - like Phil and his pretentiousness. And Chuck and his 'sorry'.
And I'm really rooting for Max and Delia.
Interestingly - I don't see Chuck as a bad guy at all - just a guy who's circumstances are pretty overwhelming and once he finally gets a handle on them, he'll really screw up properly or get it right as the case may be.

Somehow I completely missed your comments this morning. Weird. Anyway, getting just the right shot is hard. But I used to make movies with the Sims 2, so I've gotten the hang of taking shots of almost every little thing. It's a bit obsessive probably. As for the story, I'm glad you like it. I'm particularly intrigued by how everyone has interpreted Chuck. I always saw him as a very flawed guy who got a second chance. But it's the strangest second chance ever. What happens now is up to him. Like you said, either he'll get it right or he'll screw up. Or maybe both. |

I just read through the first two chapters and they were AMAZING! Your characters are realistic and I was cracking up at 'I don't sparkle, do I?'. I'll definitely be reading the rest of it!  |

Illandrya: I'm sure you're not the only one who doesn't like Rocky Horror.
Interesting you mentioned Vanessa and Chuck's reactions to what happened. That's the main reason I wrote the interlude because I was itching to explore it myself.
I think Phil is going to ask Chuck to shut his door from now on. His eyes can't take the clothes anymore. lol

eta: Phil is definitely one of my favorite characters, as well as Chuck. The two of them make a great pair. It's so fun to read their arguments, lol
