I deleted it because I felt bad about taking over and being all bossy in your thread. I'm sorry.

I'm very excited about the prospect of so many more Ed stories! I think I'll really miss it when you finally finish the series.

Okay, I selected the sobbing smiley to go with that last post, and it did not materialize. :-(
I was really sad thinking about an end of the Ed series.

what profile are you on db? I'll make sure that it should show up. selecting it from the LHS dropdown should work regardless? It shows up for the VSS Beige profile.

DB: Like I said, it isn't firm--it looks like it will take at least that many...

Kiri: um, I think it's called green, but it's pretty pale. Weird that it didn't show up yesterday, but today, voila! Sobbing smiley shows up! Heh, oxymoron!
Rachel: maybe after the Ed Prescott series, there will be the Ed Campbell series? ;-) or maybe the Scott Prescott (hmm, sounds like Bond James Bond) series or even the Iris series!

DB: Let's just say that while some stories/series will end, others need to be told, too.... Some ends are also beginnings.

DB - it may have been a cache thing. I've noticed that changes to the skins don't necessarily take effect straight away.

Blargh. I have the text written for the next chapter, but I'm not feeling the motivation to fire up the game and take the pictures. I might leave it until tomorrow...

8 stories? 8 stories MINIMUM?

Rad: lol! Yes--but includes the two and approximately 1/2 that I have written so far. There will be at least 5 more stories after the current one ends, possibly one or two more depending on how these go...

Man, I'm still not feeling it today.
I loaded up the game and took some of the pictures...but it's a difficult shoot because a lot of it takes place in Sean's car, and it's difficult to get interesting pictures that way. I hate the pictures in cars, but for some reason I keep forgetting that and writing the scenes that way. Oh well...here's hoping tomorrow I can finish the shoot and put it all together!

Maybe listen to some good car/driving music? (or food music for you, Lunar!)
Car Songs: Pink Cadillac Take It Easy Drive My Car Little Deuce Coupe (which I thought was "Little Two Scoop" when I was little, hah! Ice cream, much?)
Eating Songs: Cheeseburger in Paradise Candyman Feed Me, Seymour! Alice's Restaurant (yeah, I know, not really, but still a great "song!")

I hate car scenes too. I always try to not write any scenes that take place there because it's so darn hard. I'm sure you can make things work out just fine. You really do take lovely caps.

Thanks everybody! You are too kind for your suggestions and encouragement.
I feel like I should come clean here, and I don't want to steal meowzbark's thunder on the IRL thread, so I'll just do it here. I recently found out that I'm pregnant, too. I hope that explains why I've been a little absent of late, and why my chapters aren't quite being written in as timely a manner. It's not even that I don't have the time, it's that I am experiencing some nausea and a lot of fatigue. Then I got that weird chest cold that just sort of came out of nowhere, then disappeared just as quickly. Finally, I'm just....so distracted.
I've been on three different job interviews this week, which is just crazy. It's good, but it's overwhelming, especially since I'm usually in the throes of the nausea during these interviews. It's all a bit more exhausting because of the pregnancy.
We haven't told all of our friends yet because it's just too easy for something to go wrong in the early stages and we don't want to get their hopes up. My cousin and another distant relative both recently miscarried, so I'm a little nervous (and my mother and grandmother were both prone to them as well). This next Monday will put me at 7 weeks. As I type this, I'm looking regretfully at the coffee I can only manage a few sips of in the morning.
In any case, that's my little whine-fest to explain why I've been less involved lately, and I hope it changes soon. I need to get back into my routine and I know it would make me feel better if I could. It's just really hard. I'm hoping I can motivate myself to play today, and that will help break me out of my current funk.
