Phew! New chapter.

Lots of hand wringing and issues over this one, and then in the end I get the burning gut feeling from it. Very important brick here. Lots of stuff revealed and lots of other stuff hiding underneath.

You really have me going on this whole sequence. I cannot figure it out! I love both the mystery and the way Paula threads her way through the maze. Adriadne dumped down there with the minotaur. Wonderful, wonderful writing.

I'm really left guessing with the chapter. So many unanswered questions! I have a feeling about where the story is going, but I can't be entirely sure...until the next chapter.

...The next chapter will be out in the next five minutes, right? (lol) I'm dying with anticipation over here.

Beth, thank you. I do feel bad. I couldn't think of a way to make it clearer. Right now so much is supposition on Paula's part. Things will definitely become clearer in time. I hope.


Nicole, lol. Yeah, it was kinda mean, but I've had that image in my head for the longest time-- Paula faced with Alex looking concerned and apologetic. For the longest time I wasn't even sure how I'd get there.

I'm afraid you're going to feel much the same with the next chapter though...
